People helping people is why one resident likes Rogers
So many people get in a rush with life and jobs that they do not see a neighbor or disabled person in need. One man in our county is willing to go one step above his elected duty to help a friend in need.
Last winter was bad, bad, bad. When the roads were really slick, my husband and I cannot get off the the big, bad, slick hill of Pompeii. When the roads cleared and we were out and about we ran into our sheriff, Danny Rogers. Of course he asked how we were and we told him we hadn’t been out because I can’t drive the slick roads.
Danny told us from now on when we have bad weather like this and you need to take your husband to the doctor; or go grocery shopping or maybe even pick up medication from the drug store, you just call me and I’ll come and get him; or I’ll pick up his medicine or groceries and bring them to him.
What a wonderful Sheriff he is, to be willing to take time out from his busy job to assist a disabled person in need.
Lets keep this man as our sheriff for the next four years. He has been a blessing to us. Thank you Sheriff Danny Rogers!
