Larry J. Curtis, 69
Larry J. Curtis, of Goshen, Ohio was born on March 16, 1944 in Yuba City, CA., went to be with the Lord on Thursday, Sept. 26, 2013 at the age of 69.
Beloved husband of almost 43 years to Judi V. (Heck) Curtis. Loving father of Brian (Mel) Curtis, Sunday (Tony) Gadberry, Jamie (Julie) Heck and Dawn (Rob) Buckner. Proud grandfather of 14 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Dear brother of E.C. Curtis, Michael Curtis, Robert Monroe and April Little. Special friend of Steven Head. Cherished son of the late Ernest and Hazel (Frost) Curtis. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and many dear friends.

Donald R. Jones, 63
Donald Robert Jones, 63, husband of Carolen Jones, died Sunday, Sept. 29, 2013 from injuries sustained in an auto accident. He was a member of the Church of God and a former construction worker.
He is survived by his wife, Carolen Jones of Stanton; one son, Daniel Jones of Hager Town, Maryland; two daughters, Dora Grace Jones and Donna Beth Jones, both of Hager Town, Maryland; four grandchildren; one brother, Claudie Jones of Stanton; one sister, Anna Wise of Stanton.
He was preceded in death by one son, Barry; one daughter, Victoria; and two brothers Clifford and Henry Jones.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, Oct. 3, 2013 at 11 a.m. at The Grayson Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Hurbert Barnett and Bro. Gary Sparks officiating.. Burial will be in the Rose Cemetery. Grayson Funeral Home is in charge of services.

Oren Lane Jr., 45
Oren J. “Benerd” Lane, Jr., 45, of Clay City, passed away on Sept. 26, 2013 at his residence.  Born in Campton, he was the son of Pauline Ballard Lane and the late Oren J. Lane.  He was the owner of Lane’s Used Tires.  In addition to his father he was also preceded in death by one daughter, Jessica Lane and by one brother, Dwight Lane.
He is survived by his mother, Pauline Lane of Stanton; one daughter, Amendia and her husband Jimmy Vice of Mt. Sterling; one brother, Richard and his wife Sharon Lane of Clay City; one sister, Charlotte and her husband Keith Profitt of Stanton; one grandson, Carter Vice; three nephews:  Logan Profitt, Josh Branham and Steven Branham and by three nieces:  Patricia Lane, Megan Barnett and Cheyenne Profitt.
Funeral services officiated by Bro. Steve Williams were held on Sunday, September 29, 2013 at Hearne Funeral Home in Stanton.  Interment will followed in the Lane Cemetery on Cat Creek Road in Stanton with Keith Profitt, Logan Profitt, Josh Branham, Steven Branham, Jimmy Barnett, Dustin Watkins, James Miller and Glen Townsend serving as active pallbearers.

Jimmy Osborne, 62
Jimmy “Oz” Osborne, 62, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2013 in Clay City. He was born Sept. 21, 1951 to the late Ralph Trent and Kathleen Muncie Trent.
Survivors include his daughters, Tonya and husband, Eric Engel, Frankfort, Brittany Osborne, Stanton, and Autumn and husband, Matthew Sebey, Stanton; sister, Darnell and husband, Raymond McIntosh, Clay City; granddaughters, Morgan Engel and Hannah Osborne.
Services were held on Sept. 28 at the Davis & Davis Funeral Home in Stanton.
