Ronnie Ison, 65
Ronnie Ison, 65, of Kendall Springs Road, Owingsville, passed away Thursday, March 1, 2012 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. He was a farmer and a member of the North Side Church of God.
He is survived by one son, Ronnie Lee Ison of Clay City and one granddaughter. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, March 6 at North Side Church of God in Owingsville. Burial followed in the Norris Cemetery in Salt Lick.

Betty O’Hair, 71
Betty Maria (Haggard) O’Hair, 71, passed away peacefully Sunday, Feb. 26, 2012 at the Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington.
Betty was born in Winchester, Clark County on Dec. 10, 1940, a daughter of the late Thomas and Mavis (Huff) Haggard. She was a retired State Social Worker, attended the Zoe Church of God in Beattyville, and loved being with her family and friends.
She is survived by one daughter; Libby Jo Bowman of Beattyville, one son; Linville (Kim) O’Hair, Jr. of Irvine, two brothers; James David Haggard of Marion, IN and Michael Faulkner of Lexington; two sisters; Joan Basham of Louisville and Modena Daily of Austin, TX; four grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and many other loving family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and one son; John Taylor O’Hair.
Funeral Services were held at the Booneville Funeral Home, Booneville on Wednesday, Feb. 29, 2012 with Pastor James Harold Combs, and Reverend J. Jamison Brunk officiating. Pallbearers were Jeff Combs, Joe Powell, Frank Kincaid Jr., Darrell O’Hair, James Rogers, and Dwight O’Hair.

Lisa G. Sexton, 47
Lisa Gail Sexton, 47 of Winchester, wife of Tony R. Sexton, passed away on Sunday, March 4, 2012 at the UK Medical Center in Lexington. She was born in Winchester on Dec. 1, 1964 to the late Carl and Margaret Banks Jackson. She was a homemaker and a member of the Lighthouse Church of God.
In addition to her husband, survivors include a daughter, Margaret L. Sexton Branham; son, Tony R. Sexton Jr.; daughter-in-law, Latosha K. Sexton; 11 grandchildren, Billy C. King Jr., Mackenzie L. Branham, Madison R. Branham, Alexis K. Strange, Katlyn N. Sexton, Tony R. Sexton III, Thomas J. Sexton, Justin B. Sexton, Jacob P. Sexton, Tyler J. Gentry, and Sandy L. Dunn; brother, Thomas D. Jackson; and sister, Brenda L. Jackson. She was preceded in death by a brother, James E. Banks.
Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, March 7 at Scobee Funeral Home by Rev. Ryan Dotson. Burial was in the Winchester Cemetery. Pallbearers were James W. Banks, Carl L. Banks, Duane A. Holder, Michael D. McIntosh, Christopher H. Gibson, and Jeremy D. Miller.

Arthur R. Stamper, 52
Arthur Ray Stamper, 52, of 54 Stokley Road, Clay City, died Sunday March 4, 2012 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center.
He is survived by his life partner, Nora Sparkman of Clay City and two daughters, Faye Howell and Marvell Smith of Clay City. In addition he is survived by four brothers, JC Stamper of Macy Indiana, Jimmy Stamper of Irvine, David Stamper of Georgetown and James Stamper of Indiana; as well as one sister, Shawneda Crowe of Stanton; along with six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
