Morris Creek First Church of God
Chad Varga, a standout basketball player at Pitt and in professional basketball, will be at the Morris Creek First Church of God on Sunday, April 3 at 6 p.m. Varga has a powerful testimony of what God has done in his life. From growing up in a home where his mother violently abused drugs and alcohol to playing pro basketball before walking away from a financially secure contract to fulfill his true calling, Varga wants to work with the youth of America today. Come out and hear a wonderful testimony about what God can do for you too.
Sons of Liberty
On Sunday, April 10 the Sons of Liberty will be in concert at the Torrent First Church of God during the morning worship service at 11 a.m. They are an acclaimed gospel music group who travels all over the country giving their testimony of Christ in song. The church is located on Highway 15 just five miles south of Natural Bridge State Park (or 1 mile north of Zachariah).
Lunch will be served immediately following the program. Pastor Marvin Hobbs and the Torrent congregation invite everyone to come and fellowship with them.
New Beginnings Church of God, 1091 Irvine Road (Rt. 82), Clay City, will be holding a revival on April 4-9 at 7 p.m. Evangelists will be Eddy and Bill Pelfrey.
