Prayer Task Force Schedule
The Powell County Christians United Against Drugs (PCCUAD) Prayer Task Force will be holding prayer meetings on Saturday mornings at various churches throughout the county. The July 10 meeting will be held at the Morris Creek Missionary Baptist; the July 17 meeting will be held at the Stanton Baptist Church; the July 24 meeting is slated for the West Bend Baptist; and the July 31 meeting will be held at the Knowlton Church of God. The prayer service starts at 9 a.m.
Stanton Baptist VBS
Stanton Baptist Church invites all kids to this years VBS – High Seas Expedition. The voyage begins July 11-16, from 6-8:30 p.m. Ages 3 to 5th grades are welcome. A special youth VBS will be held in the mornings of July 12-16. For more information about VBS or van pickup, please call 663-2170.
Weekend Youth Rally
Lost? Get found before it’s too late. The Morris Creek Tabernacle in Stanton will be holding a Weekend Youth Rally July 9-11. If you need a new start or just some encouragement, or if you just want to hang out with some of God’s awesome people – come join us for a weekend you’ll never forget!
It all begins Friday, July 9 at 7 p.m., followed by food and activities. Then on Saturday, July 10 and Sunday, July 11 at 11 a.m. There will be worship music, food, games, maybe even a little lava! But most important a message from God that could change your life!
Bro. Brian Bridges will start if off on Friday. Saturday there is a workshop session and lunch, an afternoon full of fun and games. Dinner is served at 5 p.m. and an evening service at 7 p.m. followed by a bon fire. On Sunday the morning service will be held at the Christian Fellowship Church of God in Clay City, with a dinner after the service. Then more fun activities will be set up at the Morris Creek tabernacle. The evening service will begin at 7 p.m. followed by a movie, cotton candy and some popcorn.

Back Yard Bible School
There will be a Kids Back-Yard Vacation Bible School at Baker’s Apartments July 7-9, from 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Kids ages 5-12 years old are welcome to attend. There will be games, food, crafts, music, and Bible stories. This Saturday there will be a community festival at the same location from 12-5 p.m. There will be bouncers, free Hood’s pizza and Ale 8; as well as a corn hole tournament. This free event is open to anyone.
