House of Deliverance Revival
The House of Deliverance located at 3982 Main Street in Clay City will be holding a revival this week, July 9-13, 7 p.m. nightly. Wednesday will be Pastor Herbert Barnett; Thursday will be Pastor Ron Davis of the 7th Street Baptist Church in Lexington with Edith Puckett singing; Friday will be Linda Gipson Johnson and singing; Saturday will be a Street Ministry across from the EZ Stop in Clay City with Pastor Sam Patrick; Sunday at 11 a.m. Terressa Patrick will be teaching and Sunday night will be the preaching of Jennifer Powell. Gospel Singing at Crossroads Baptist
The Crossroads Baptist Church located at 2425 Virden Ridge Road in Clay City will be hosting a singing on Sunday, July 13. The group Heaven’s Sake will be there. The singing begins at 3 p.m. Everyone welcome to come out and worship God with us.

Revival at Calvary Baptist
Calvary Baptist Church located on Stokley Loop just north of Clay City off of Black Creek Road (Highway 11) will be holding a revival with the “Ole Stump Kickers Evangelistic Team.” The revival will begin on Sunday morning, July 13 at 10:30 a.m. and Sunday night at 6 p.m. I will continue on Monday and Tuesday, July 14-15, beginning at 7 p.m. each night. Come enjoy some great singing and preaching.

Powell’s Valley Baptist VBS
Powell’s Valley Baptist Church will have VBS July 20-23. It will be from 6:30-8:30 p.m. each night. Wednesday night will be Family Night at 7 p.m.  Classes will be available from Kindergarten through Adult. Everyone is welcome to join us for a great adventure! Refreshments and games each night.

Salem Baptist VBS
Salem Baptist Church on Highway 82 at Spout Springs in Estill County will be conducting Lifeway’s Agency D3 Vacation Bible School, July 20-23, from 6-8:30 p.m.  Family Night will be July 24 at 7 p.m.  A VBS kickoff picnic will be held at Salem’s pavilion on July 19 at 6 p.m. with activities including a giant water slide.  A Salem Summer Celebration will be held on July 26 at 6 p.m. at Salem’s pavilion with Music, Drama, and a Message – food provided.  Salem welcomes all to attend these events.

The Cat Creek Church of Christ will be holding their Vacation Bible School June 22-June 26. The VBS will run from 6:30-8:30 p.m. each night.

Never Ending Grace
The Never Ending Grace Community Church will be having a cookout/fireworks, Saturday, June 28. Hamburgers, hot dogs and chips will be served at 7 p.m. followed with fellowship and then fireworks after dark. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Morris Creek Missionary Baptist to Host Visiting Preacher June 20-21

Morris Creek Missionary Baptist Church , located on Highway 213 North of Stanton, will be hosting Brother Elijah Gross from Bethlehem Regular Baptist in Breathitt County . The special services will be held Friday, June 20 and Saturday, June 21 at 7 p.m.

Regular Church Services are held every week with Sunday School at 10 a.m. and Worship Service at 10:45 a.m

Stanton Baptist VBS

Stanton Baptist Church will be hosting their Vacation Bible School June 16-20 at the church. The VBS will run from 5:45 to 8:45 p.m. There will be a pre-registration session this Saturday, June 14 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the church. If you need ride information call 663-2170.

West Bend UMC Guest Speaker

On Sunday, June 15, West Bend UMC at 3 p.m., Rev. Shivraj Mahendra will present “Witnessing Christianity to the Hindu.” Rev. Mahendra is a graduate of New Theological College and doctoral student at Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore. This lecture is intended to familiarize our local churches with witnessing to the growing Hindu population in central-eastern Kentucky. All are welcome. Please contact Bro. Torrent Church of God “Old Friends” Reunion

On Saturday, June 14 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., “Old Friends” from the Torrent, Zachariah, Leeco, Little Sinking, Fixer and Zoe communities will gather at Torrent Church of God for their annual reunion.  Weather permitting we will be outside so bring your lawn chairs.  The meal with be pot luck but drinks, ice and tableware will be furnished.  We will have live music and a silent auction if you want to bring an item.  This is a wonderful time for “Old Friends” to be together.

Grace Fellowship Youth Car Wash/Bake Sale
The Grace Fellowship Church of God of Prophecy Youth Group will be holding a car wash and bake sale this Saturday, June 7 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the church located on East College Avenue in Stanton. The car wash is $5 and all money will go toward sending kids to camp this summer. There will also be some yard sales set up, so come by, find something you like, get your car washed, find a good baked good item and help kids go to camp!

Liberty Worship Center
Liberty Worship Center would like to invite everyone to an evening of Bluegrass/Country Gospel music on Saturday evening, June 7.  Special guests will be Chester Crabtree and Shawn Skidmore.  Singing will begin at 7 p.m.  Liberty Worship Center is located at 316 Steamshovel Road, in Stanton. Easter Musical Drama

Easter Service at Calvary Baptist
Calvary Baptist Church in Clay City (on Stokley Loop, off of Black Creek Road) invites you to Easter Service followed by an Easter Play and  a Communion Service for all. (Ladies, please wear your best hats!)
