Abbigail Booth
Abbigail Cheribell Billie Booth, 6 months, daughter of William Allen Cody Booth and Brandii Lynn Austin, 555 West Railroad Street, Stanton, died Monday, Nov. 23, 2009 at Clark Regional Medical Center in Winchester.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her brother, William Allen Cody Booth, II and by her sister, Jaiden Booth. She is also survived by paternal grandparents, Brenda Faye Booth and David Allen (Trina Rogers) Booth of Stanton; maternal grandparents, Billie Michelle (Joseph) Watkins of Clay City and the late Roslin Mack Miller, Jr.; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services were officiated by Rev. Herbert Barnett and Rev. Donald Wayne Hale at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2009 at Hearne Funeral Home Chapel, 125 West College Avenue, Stanton.

Sandra O. Garrett, 59
Sandra Osborne Garrett, 59, of 153 Rowland Avenue, Clay City died Thursday, Nov. 26, 2009 at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington. Born in Bourbon County, she was a daughter of the late Ray and Bernice King Osborne and she was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one sister, Barbara Welch.
Surviving relatives include two daughters: Lee Ann and her husband Jerome Clemons and Brenda and her husband Al Kiernan of Clay City; three brothers: Robert and his wife Gladys Osborne, David and his wife Dorothy Osborne and J. W. and his wife Rita Osborne all of Winchester; one sister, Sara Osborne of Winchester; six grandchildren: Jerome (Buddy) Clemons, Andy Clemons, Justin Clemons, Samantha Clemons, Myron Kiernan and Joey Clark and three great grandchildren: Jerome Clemons, III, Lee Ann Marie Clemons and James Andrew Clemons, II.
Funeral services were officiated by Rev. David Bowden at 11 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 30, 2009 at Hearne Funeral Home Chapel, 125 West College Avenue, Stanton.
Interment was in Clarmont Memorial Gardens, Winchester. Active pallbearers serving were Kevin Lacy, Jerome (Buddy) Clemons, Al Kiernan, Earl Lovings, Donald Faulkner and Joseph Hall. Honorary pallbearers were David Lovings, James Garrett, Dorothy and Ray Pelfrey, Jerome Clemons, Justin Clemons, Andy Clemons and David Kissick. Lucille M. Tipton, 91
Lucille Mildred Tipton, 91, East College Avenue, widow of Hugh Tipton, died Monday, Nov. 23 at Clark Regional Medical Center, Winchester. She was born June 5, 1918 in Powell County to the late Allen G. and Emma K. Conlee Wills. She was a member of the Stanton Christian Church.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Donna Sue and Bill Cress, Stanton; son and daughter-in-law, Mendel and Debbie Tipton, Stanton; sister, Stanlee Pelfrey, Stanton; grandchildren, Carmen Cress, Christina Stowe, Alan Tipton, and Jessica Sorrels; great-grandchildren, Will Martin, Gabriella Martin, Sam Stowe, and Rachel Stowe. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sister, Agnes Trent.
Services were held on Saturday, Nov. 28, at 1 p.m. at the Stanton Christian Church by Rev. David Bowden. Burial was in the Stanton Cemetery. Pallbearers who served were Alan Tipton, Will Martin, and nephews. Honorary pallbearers were Elsie Martin, Millie Abner, Inez Woodard, Carl and Virginia Wells, Jeff Brewer, with special friends, Brenda Cooper and Chris Faulkner
